Anaesthetic Registrar, Sydney Hospital, 1955 and 1956. He gained experience here in general surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecological surgery, ophthalmic surgery, ENT surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and animal anaesthetics.
