They were some of the leading names of anaesthesia practice in Australia and New Zealand during the 20th Century.\u00a0Today, the Faculty\u2019s successor, the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthesia, has some 7000 Fellows and trainees.<\/p>\n<p><em>Lives of the Fellows<\/em>\u00a0is an ongoing project uncovering the stories of Faculty and College Fellows presented in an online exhibition from the Geoffrey Kaye Museum of Anaesthetic History.<\/p>\n<p>Research for the founding Fellows is still underway. The College also plays a significant role in the advancement of anaesthesia in south-east Asia and South Pacific island countries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"documentFirstHeading\">ANZCA is governed by the <a class=\"internal-link\" title=\"Council, committees and representatives\" href=\"http:\/\/www.anzca.edu.au\/about-anzca\/council-committees-and-representatives\">ANZCA Council<\/a> and employs specialist <a class=\"internal-link\" title=\"Our staff\" href=\"http:\/\/www.anzca.edu.au\/about-anzca\/our-staff\">staff <\/a>to help achieve its goals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"documentFirstHeading\">The College has a proud history in Australia and New Zealand.
